128 megaships used the Port of Algeciras in 2016

The Port of Algeciras’s container terminals saw 128 megaships (*) operate from APMT and TTIA (+29%). 

It was only in 2014 that Maersk Line decided to trust its megaships to the Port of Algeciras; from hereon, the other Top 3 shipping lines – MSC and CMA-CGM – have also followed suit.
